I have a Nokia 6210 mobile phone which has an infrared port (as does my Fujitsu Siemens M6500 laptop which is running WinME) I am trying to install the modem driver from the Nokia CD but when I get to the stage in the wizard where the selection is between Bluetooth, Cable and Infrared, the latter is dimmed out. This seems to imply that the system does not think that there is an infrared port. However, when Iopen the Control Panel\System\Device Manager\Infrared Devices\Infrared Communication Device, the driver status is shown as "working properly". Can anyone suggest what I should do next ? (I have already checked that infrared port is enabled in BIOS)
