http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/mad.gif when booting my new system for the first time, the monitor remained black,the green led on the monitor flickered and then the message signal failure appeared before the monitor went black again and switched itself back into standby mode.could it be a faulty graphics card . i,ve made sure that it is properly located and there are no loose connections in the hardware. system 1.4ghz, 526ddram 64mb geforce 200mx.

Put a pci graphics card in the system. Sometimes motherboards wont boot with agp cards in the slot. If you you get it booting load the agp miniport driver that comes with the motherboard cd, when you get windows loading on there.What kind of mother board do you have?
