Outlook Express question

I just finished my new PC and I was wondering if anyone knew how to transfer my old E-mail address to this new PC. Should I just set up a new account?

connect to your isp & there should be an option to 'retrieve an existing account' then click on configure.

or just go to 'accounts' in outlook and put in the details.

Easiest way would be to back up your Address Book in Outlook Express, and then import it into the new setup.

Open Outlook Express and go to FILE, then EXPORT. Select ADDRESS book and if you want messges as well. Save to safe place. Importing is just the reverse.

If it's just the mail account settings - you can go to Tools>>Accounts>>Mail and Highlight the Account(s). Then export the .iaf file(s), say to floppy.

When you startup the new OE, go to the same place and import the .iaf file(s) back.
