Annoying Word error

I am running XP and everytime I start Microsoft Word the following message appears several times before I can actually begin the program.

"Microsoft Word can't display the templete used in this document. Microsoft Word cannot install the necessary files due to Windows Installer error 1605."

Basically I can use MW, but this error message is annoying. I've thought about removing MW and reloading, but will I lose my MW files (they are saved in MyDocuments)?

To answer your basic question - no - removing, reinstalling or repairing MSWord or other Office applications won't affect your personal document files (eg yourfile.doc) stored in MyDocuments (or indeed any other files in that folder).
