Exchange 5.5 question

Does anyone know where I can see where sent emails are being stored before they actually get release. I ask because I sent out about 25 email last night and the didn't get release until 10:00 am this morning.

Haven't used exchange for years but the first place I would look would be the outbox of whichever post-office you are using within the wgpo folder.
