Processor Question

I recently ordered a motherboard package from mwave.com where you select components such as motherboard, processor, and ram all from drop downs... with the assumption that all parts are compatible. After reading through the manual it says the motherboard handles celeron processors through 733mhz, yet my processor is 850. Is there any potential problems created by this??

Hi Chris... You didn't state which Mboard (Mfg) that you had opted for but a guy needs to run down the BIOS version you are dealing with and go from there. That is if running an 850 is causing any problems.

Go to the website of the Mboard Mfg and see if there is a Bios update available for your particular board. Normally a later version BIOS is all that is necessary. Luck.
