I am using Man9.0 and I have too create a db that is similar too Access in win office pro, is there somewhere I can get some knowledge as how too set this up >> I believe there is a few commands that I may use too install some compatability with win applications, inclusive office applications?

Hmm, you could try OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org), been awhile since i fooled with it-but has ( or had ) a database application.

Or you could use Wine ( windows emulator for linux ), and install Office 2000 on your distro-tho it's not always reliable.

if you use openoffice-just connect it using the unixobdc to a MySql database, it'll gie you all the usefullness of access.

I don't recall if you can create a DB in it, i think you can-but you may want to check up on that.

I also seem to recall that StarOffice had/has a database app-you might also want to check them out.

Yes, i was checking it out last night and OpenOffice does have database tools.
