Does anyone know what application I should use to open a .PNG file?

My "png" files are opened by "Microsoft Photo Editor" ["PhotEd.exe"]

IE, most image eidtor, all other browsers, most image viewers...

I believe that's an Apple propietary image format, so it's a defualt for Quicktime ( that doesn't mean you have to use quicktime tho ).


I usually asscociate .png with MSPaint-or photo editor, which ever floats your boat :)

.png is actually an Open Source alternative to the proprietary .gif format.
