System Restore Problem

When trying to use System Restore, I get the message "The procedure entry point Remote Assistance Prepare System Restore could not be located in the dynamic link library WINSTA.dll." I am using WinXP Pro. Any suggestions? Thanks, WolfpackRon.

You might have to do a recovery (or re-install SP 1)

But first you could try this. Make sure you have all files set to be seen. Open My Coputer, click on Tools> Folder Options> View. Select Show Hidden Files and Folders and make sure Hide Protected Operating System Files is unchecked.

Now open the Windows folder. Find a system folder called INF. Open it and find the file sr.inf . Right click on it and select install, have your XP CD handy.
