firewall & ie6/elnk 5.0. . .

. . . was wandering how one cld configure one's firewall to launch with one's inet browser. . . if any interest, i run earthlink 5.0 under ie 6 and my firewall is zonealarm. . . wld this be a macros-script of sorts?

any help is appreciated.

A simple batch file should do the trick.

What I used to do was keep a short cut to my firewall sitting beside browser icon and just click on it before opening browser up. That is until I forgot one day and got caught out with a trojan. :mad: Now have it running at startup.

So would be interested in how to make this script.

I use a little program called Netlaunch...which until recently had been all but abandonned, but it seems to be back under development again and it has an XP version.

This little program will allow you to manage exactly what and when runs when you dial out.....
