I probably visited some site about audio copy protection Key2Audio or something...
after that day i cant play with Windows Media Player 9.0 my audio CDs
i try to switch in analog playback but refuse
also i try to rip some songs with some ripper program but with no results

It is possible that that site send some plug in in system so i cant play CDs

How i can solve the problem?

ps.sorry my english is bad!

I think MediaPlayer 9 has some copy protections built into it, but I am not sure how and if you can turn them off. It is also possible that you picked up Cdilla or some other nasty. Run Spybot and/or AdAware to see if they pick anything up...

You could also run Hijack This and post the log here...

As far as I know, none of the copy protection sites are passing any DRM or copy-protection software just by visiting the site. But, like Budfred said, WMP9 does have built in protections.

Have you tried using it to rip the file to wma?

http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/driverdetail.html?filekey=aspichk.exe

That is the checker program, links on that page should lead you to the ASPI version you'll need.

I had a similar problem. I solved it by downloading Windows MediaPlayer 9 again. Now, it works just fine.
