I have chessmaster8000 and it was great for teaching. Kinda long and technical in a chess sort of way. If there is a 9000 I'd go with that.

any of the Chess master games have great tutors. Whichever you can get is good. I just picked up 7000 and it had 6 other variations bundled with it. Very good on game tutor
