Power Point Slide Show to DVD

Would like to convert a MS Power Point slide presentation to be able to show it on a standalone DVD player. I will be making a slide show for a college swim team with pictures and music, maybe video clips. Have done some with My DVD program, but I am more familiar with Power Point. Another possibility is using another DVD authoring program. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. WolfpackRon.
