If I remember, this post goes with another thread, this one (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24171) I believe. It helps to keep it all together so people know what you are talking about.
I am not a gaming expert, but I can tell you that a PCI card will be quite limited when it comes to the newest graphics intensive games. It will be able to carry you through for games that are less intense or that came out a few years ago, but the newest and hottest games push the edge of what graphics cards can do and AGP is a minimum. Are you sure your Dell doesn't have an AGP slot?
yes, pitiful, its only 4 mo old, should have built one , but live and learn, hard way. I would have to change MB and probably case, not to mention software.. thks

You will see a marked improvement over the onboard graphics.
Depending on what type of games you will be playing, either go with the 5200( if you need DX9 support) or for close to half the price, you could go for the Powercolor Radeon 7500 64MB card.
At newegg, the 5200 is $107US and the 7500 is $68US.
Again, it depends on what games you wish to run. The 7500 will be a large improvement alone over what you have.
Just be careful and patient when disabling the onboard Intel graphics.
