Hey everyone. In a week or two I'll be buying a new monitor for my newly built system, and giving my 17" to my brother. I want to buy a 19" CRT but i'm not too sure which one i want. I saw this one for a decent price ($289 Canadian) but i'm not sure if it's a quality monitor. Have any of you had any problems with samsung? Here's the link to the monitor: http://www.samsung.ca/cgi-bin/nasecabc/en/b2c/product/product_detail.jsp?LoginFlag=NO&prod_id=AN19JSBL
Does this look like a good monitor? I don't want anything too hard on the eyes and i think this has a max resolution of 1600x1200 at 68Hz. Is that good? Thanks to all who reply.

Here's a review:

In addition to the review above, there are users that complain about the geometry of Samsung monitors and this monitor in particular. I owned a Samsung 753 for a few days that had unacceptable cupping in the center of the top edge. The bad geometry varies from monitor to monitor of the same model, so some may not have any problems.

On the other hand, some users have really been pleased. The price is pretty good right now.

My advice is to buy the monitor locally. That way, if it has poor geometry or you don't like it, you can return it with no hassle.
