I have an ISA video card with win98.
I could not record any sound.
However,with WinME, i can.
WHY?

Is this the same card in a single machine that you are dual booting?

Likely to be the audio settings. What is your defualt recording device set as in 98?

ISA Video card.. wow not seen one of those in a while ;)

I take it you meant ISA sound card; Windows ME came stock with many new drivers for already existing hardware. No doubt Windows ME found and installed the proper (updated)driver for your sound card, where as with Windows 98 you did not have a proper functioning driver. You can get the proper updated drivers from the hardware manufacturer of any of the devices you have that need them.
