A few posts ago I mentioned problems viewing the MSN messenger Internet games. A small paintbrush icon would appear in the left hand top corner with the outline of the game showing up but nothing happening. Well it's happening again with something else. When I go to www.happytreefriends.com and try and view on of their cartoons on 56k modem mode the popup happens but does not properly load. I have tried viewing this with my firewall shut down and it still doesn't work. I have Spyware Blaster, Spyware Guard and Spybot Search N Destroy Immunisation loaded and I'm wondering whether this could be causing it, or possibly some kind of settings disabled in my Internet explorer options?? Can someone help me please? by the way these cartoons are callously hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dont remember the previous post... & to rub salt into the wound that cartoon is quite funny albeit in a somewhat sic way!
Anyway its a flash clip.. I assume you have flash installed? Check in
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files Assuming windows is in the C drive. There should be an entry there for Shockwave Flash Object.
Go into Spybot, and if you have the "bad download blocker" enabled, disable it....it blocks many ActiveX controls and not all of them are really bad, the blocker is a work in progress, and it does need some tweaking.

I'm just wondering why for the last 2 weeks when I've tried to get into www.pcguide.com on this computer it hasn't worked. It has said permission denied to index.htm, and then ERROR 403 in the top title bar. I had tried shutting down my zone alarm pro firewall and it still didnt work, I reinstalled it yesterday and it didn't work, then when I tried the site today it worked at last. Howcome my firewall would've still blocked it before if I had closed down the running processes too??
