in XP. Just completed a fresh reinstall of XP on the wifes computer and went to set up my internet connection and boom! I got it in just a matter of moments but my question is I used the removal tool, Stinger
and it removed the worm after setting preferences, and was able to reconnect.But I did not turn off system restore. I know its recommended
but it seems to have worked without turning it off. Your thoughts? By the way my firewall was checked but have not installed SP1 or the patch
yet.
