Whyz,

great link there, I tried it out and on the system I'm going to have pretty soon (see here http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24404) it turns out I'd need something like 433W minimum! I'm hoping I did something wrong somewhere 'cause that would mean major spending in the psu department.

Well, I'm gonna keep checking, anyone who feels like redoing my math is verrrrrrry welcome to :D

I was thinking of getting the turbo cool 425

http://pcpowerandcooling.com/products/power_supplies/highperformance/turbocools/index_hp_atx.htm

It's probably going to be a P4 3.0/Abit IC7-G/Geforce 4 Ti4200/80 gb hd/1gb pc 3200/

I've gotta run this morning so I cannot do the math...

I took a quick look at the specs on your potential PSU...It appears to be an older design where the 5v rails needed to be "beefed up." Todays PSUs need to have a more dominant 12v due to not only the CPUs, but also the number of fans we're dropping into them...

I would take a look at the link I provided and add up your individual rail consumption and see how you fare with the specs of the one you're interested in getting...

Once you decide on the size PSU you want.

I can say without any reservations
If your willing to spend the Money on a PcPower+Cooling Power supply
You will be very happy with it..

I’ve replaced a lot of power supplies over the years
In a few systems I have replaced them more than once

However
In Every case I have installed a PCP+C PSU into
That unit is still running..
Dating back to the AT unit I installed in My First 80386-33
It was upgraded in steps from then to today ( p2 - 400 ) and as far as I Know It is still running in the same tower Today .. ( Ask Pete I shipped it to him months ago )
I also have them in my server and two work stations

They cost more. But they last
