Go to Google preferences (http://www.google.com/preferences?hl=en)

Make your preference selections.

Save your preferences.

Drag the resulting url to your "links" section at the top of your browser.

This creates a bookmark.

Turn your cookies off.

When you need to search Google, click on the Bookmarklet and you will arrive at a Google search page with your preferences already selected.

Maybe I am missing something, but isn't just as easy to just delete your cookies (google's or other) after browsing ?
