My power supply blew so I'm trying to install a new one. I had a 300 watt and I am putting a 350 watt in. I hooked up everything and turned the PS on. It goes for about three seconds then shuts down. I tried unhooking everything but the motherboard from the PS but it is still doing the same thing. I have an 800mhz system using AMD and an asus chipset.Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hello andrewmorg,
Welcome tohttp://www.pcguide.com/ubb/pcgubb.gif Forums!
Unfortunately, the crash and burned power supply could have taken out your motherboard also.
It sounds like you've taken the proper troubleshooting steps by attempting a barebones boot...
You probably will need to go shopping! :(

Do you have the heatsink fan plugged into the 3-pin CPUFAN header on the motherboard?
