Just found out that Charter pipeline has sold Miami Beach and someother places to Atlantic Broadband LLC. Now what happens? I might have been one of the few who liked Charter's digital t.v. and broadband service.
This figures as I just set up a wireless network [still can't file share] and am really happy with the interactive digital cable.
Oh well, anybody know anything about these guys? Looks like Bell South dsl here I come.

Mark- I would certainly hang in there for now. They can't just come in and completely change out an entire existing broadband system without some major rebuilding, splicing, equipment etc.
It may be a long time before you see any changes at all....(Other than possibly your bill! :p ) I haven't heard of Atlantic broadband, but who knows? Maybe they'll be even better. The fact that you have interactive Digital Cable and high speed internet means the system is already in touch with todays standards.
Your channel lineup and Pricing/Packages may eventually change, but major changes to an existing broadband system take lots of time and money.
I know one thing....I would not switch from Cable to DSL unless your existing prices go way up, and the customer service goes way down! ;) :D

Thanks Jab,
I know your right, the deal won't even close till the middle of 2004. I agree about dsl as I have found cable to be better. Oh well we will see. And I still can't file share:D
