Hi, today david blaine went in his class box, so I decided to check this out on my PC when I get to the channel4 site it appears I have to download /subscribe to Realplayer super pass, why can't I watch these pictures without having to pay out again for more software?
Because they are in a subscription only format?

Hi,
though when the television programmes invite you to log-on nothing is said about payment, is there no way round this? I have a couple of kids who watch sky and their programs do the same, surely one dosen't have to pay each time. Maybe they should be a warning to tell people theres a charge for this, we pay our phone bills so we should be getting this free. Has nobody challenged these program makers about this? I wouldn't have minded paying a little bit if I'd been told before hand.

SuperPass is a subscription service that gets you many different content providers, so you aren't paying for individual events.
It seems that there is a free 2-week trial for it....
And yes, it does really suck that many of these "content" providers are now going the subscription route.
