I am using this to receive 'Freeview' transmissions on my PC. But am experiencing that that the sound and picture are out of sync with each other. People speak, then a split second later their lips move. As my graphics are of the 'built-in' variety on the PC motherboard, I was wondering if a separate graphics card would cure this.

I don't play games, so do not require a super expensive card offering features that would be wasted on me. But it would, naturally, have to be a step up from my current on-board graphics.

Sorry, I should have added (for the benefit of our overseas members)
that 'Freeview' is digital TV and radio transmissions received via
an antenna. ;)

I found the solution for myself; the answer is to play the MPEG video files in WinDVD. Up to now I assumed that this was for playing DVDs only.

But I've another query regarding the initial installation:
We (my son & I) couldn't get anything to register in Device Manager/Sound, video and game controllers. In fact it's not listed anywhere in the Device Manager at all. As this is a USB device, how can this be possible?
