I have a problem with the booting of my pc. 1st I installed a cd burner (hp 9150i)
and had no problem. A couple of weeks later installed (upgraded) my memory from 64 mb to 256 mb
memory. No problem. A few days later I turn my computer on and the monitor gives a message of "No
video input or cable disconnected". Everything was powering up, i.e., fan on, lights up, hard drive turns,
but you can tell that the hard drive does not go through its whole process.

So, I figured new video card. Bought one, didn't help. Unplugged every thing newly installed even put back
old 64 mb memory....but nothing. So, I purchased a new motherboard and cpu. Nothing helped. I even
plugged a known to work monitor in to see and it didn't work. Plugged in a known to work hard drive, did'nt
work. I have exhausted everything I know to do......

What do you suggest ?????

Sounds like a pain man. I feel for you. Push the ram in tigher.I know yeah when you put the ram in it makes a click sound but just push on it a little bit harder and try to boot.
