i juss recently bought a sound blaster audigy 2 platinum eX...everything in my computer was workin fine...then when i installed the soundcard...my vdo card started messing up...the drivers don't even seem to be installed anymore?? everything else seems to be working fine except the vdo card?? I updated EVERY driver for EVERYTHING in my computer...still nothing...when i try to install the vdo driver it tells me something like "the required section was not found in the .INF" however, this is the same driver i used for it last time?? I think its a device conflict...however windows XP isn't showing any conflicts in the device manager...please someone help me!! my current hardware configuration is below...

Epox EP-8RDA+
AMD Athlon XP-2700+
Corsair XMS 512mb RAM
GeForce4 MX440 8XAGP (problem vdo card)
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum eX (new soundcard)
Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 60gb HDD
Sony 16X DVD-ROM drive
some generic floppy drive

Please help!!

Shut down the computer, insert the sound card in a PCI slot that's not next to the AGP slot, restart in Safe mode, uninstall all video and sound card software in Add/Remove Programs, open Device Manager and remove all video and sound cards from the list, shut down the computer(DO NOT restart), remove the video card, restart normally, let Windows recognize the sound card, reinstall its drivers, shut down the computer, install the video card, restart, let Windows recognize the video card, and reinstall its drivers.
