Onboard sound or Voyetra Santa Cruz 6-speakers sound card?

Hi guys, since Compusa is having a sale on the Turtle Beach santa cruz sound card, which I heard is better than Creative Labs SB Live, I was wondering if I should get it.
Also the motherboard that I'm getting will have the Nvidia soundstorm technology which I heard isn't so bad.
So help me decide with your knowledge.;)

From what I've read, the Soundstorm sound system should be more than adequate. Here's a review comparing it to Creative's Audigy 2:
