IDE cables & mobo

If i buy a mobo, do the IDE cables are there with it?
or i have to buy them separately?

depends on the manufacturer, but usualy there is at least one ide cable included. Sometime two,, sometimes none.

And in some(few) mobo boxs they put in rounded cables instead of flat ones.

Btw: Most of the time it is clearly advertised on the manufacturers page what they put in the box. certainly worth checking it out...

"Normally," if you purchase retail at least flat ones are included...

If you purchase OEM then "normally," you just get the drive...
