Webpage makes computer crash

Hi. Wonder if you have some general ideas on why, when trying to load some webpages, the computer crashes. Happens rarely with me but my friend has this prob when he tries to view one particular home page. I am running Win98 (second edit) and the friend with Win98. My version of IE is 5.5

Did he try repairing IE with its repair tool in System Information/Tools, or uninstalling IE and reinstalling the latest version?
Exactly what happens when his system crashes(messages, etc.)?
Does it crash when he tries to load just that one web page?

Thanks for your reply. I will suggest that repair option to him. Yes it only happens with this one web page. The screen freezes with no error message. Then he can only switch off and reboot.

Do a Google search, and see if others are also having similar problems with that website.
