I have an AMD 1800+xp and 512 MEGS DDR266 2100 ram(2 256 sticiks) and these are on an Iwill xp333-r motherboard, and my motherboard has my processor running at 1150, it should be around 1560, and it used to be, how did it get adjusted down?, and how do i get it back up.

I know, I am an idiot, but help me anyway, please.

The Front Side Bus speed may be set to 200 instead of 266. It is commonly done in the BIOS settings.

I didnt see a place in the BIOS for front side bus speed, but there was a place that said cpu speed, i set it at 200 and my system would not restart, so i changed it back to 100 where it was set. it still shows 1150 processor speed, it used to show 1560, i have no idea what happened

The online manual shows that the FSB is set by jumpers on the motherboard, rather than the BIOS as I thought:

The only other way the processor could have been running at the highr speed with the jumper incorrectly set as it was would have been with the Multiplier setting.
