I've got a Soyo motherboard that supports Pentium 3's up to 800 mhz...I know this is pretty old hardware and shouldn't cost me too much to acquire but i'm wary of buying on ebay for obvious reasons.
Does anybody have any good links to cheap old parts. I'm good with used if they come with a short guarantee.

You can get a complete, off-lease P3 system (no monitor) at auction depot (http://www.auctiondepot.com) for $75. Pickings are slim right now, but there are new auctions weekly and they usually have much more to choose from. My father-in-law has purchased several systems from them (usually for a local school he does volunteer work for) without complaint.
Also, a quick froogle search (http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=pentium+3+socket+370+cpu+-motherboard) led me to this deal (http://store.yahoo.com/kmexpress/p3-700pga.html), which looks pretty reasonable, although I would check out the seller at reseller ratings (http://www.resellerratings.com) first.

Computer Geeks (http://www.compgeeks.com/products.asp?cat=CPU) can get you set up for about $60-$70. They are a good, reliable company. I've bought alot of stuff from them without any problems.
