Ok, here is the system:
AMD Athlon 1.2 GhZ Proc
512mb PC133 Ram
20Gig HD
60Gig HD
GeForce2 MX 32mb Video card
SBLive Platinum sound
DVD drive
CDRW drive
300watt power supply
2 case fans and a Heatsink/fan combo

The problem I am having is that the system is constantly rebooting itself at different times no matter what I am doing. This happens on every O/S I have tried and I cannot figure out what it is. I ahve all of the latest drivers for everything, yet it still does it. Anyone ahve a clue as to what might be causing it? I know it isnt windows, I was thinking more along the lines of the power supply. I know its not the heat either because I am well within standards for AMD. HELP PLEASE!!!

The two most common causes for reboot are heat (not just CPU) and power supply.

If you have another one to try swapping out the psu, also try to monitor the case temp...

Is the inside of your case clean. Dust biuld up will act as a conductor sending electrical current in unwonted areas. This will cause the system to reboot.

What's up with that?
