This may seem like a dumb question but I purchased a couple of used Intel Slot 1 precessors that have large aluminum heatsinks without fans. They both have an insulated wire screwed to the heatsink with a flat 5 pin female plug(second one from the end is blocked off) on the other end that would plug into the motherboard. I do not know what the wire is for. If it connected to a fan it would obviously power the fan when plugged into the MB but what is it's purpose on the heatsink? Thanks. Terry
