Formatting XP with 98SE CD

hi,
This is how i format windows xp. I boot it up with a 98SE cd, then use the fdisk to remove the partitions. Then i boot up it with a xp cd and paritition it. Is there anything wrong with this way. What's the proper way of doing it. Thanks

I don't know if it is proper or not, but I am pretty sure you don't have to go to that much trouble. The WinXP CD will partition, format and install....

Nothing wrong with it... just a little unnecessary. You can delete existing partitions during the XP install, so why bother with the 98 CD?
