no boot

A co-workers 4 year old Emachine/400I has contracted a virus. Now he cannot boot up. Fans come on (power supply and cpu), no led lights, no keyboard, monitor blank. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/mad.gif Just in case, have pulled cover and checked all wiring and connections, all good. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you certain it has contracted a virus? Has it been moved around lately. You checked wiring and connections, have you actualy pulled and reseated RAM, CPU, vid card??? Any beeps?

Hey Bassman,
Yes sir, have reseated all components, has no vid card (built-in
ATI rage). Have even changed out ide cables to no avail. Like I'm not
getting signal to MB.
