Can anyone please tell me how to formatt my pc with the Xp cd.

I was told to just put the cd in and it would ask me if i want to formatt my hard drive but i cant find it.
I never formatted a pc before and dont know how to do it and what options to pick to reformatt my pc.

can anyone please tell me how to find that option and what steps to take to do the reformatt

Xp will ask you what partition to use, after you pick the one to use XP will format and install using the NTFS. Just follow the CD.

When loading your pc, hit the delete key. Go into bios and set it to boot first using the cd-drive. save and exit. put your xp cd into the cd-drive when loading your pc and just read the instruction that follows.
