I have been using Mozilla Firebird for a few weeks with extensions set up per mjc's advice.
I occasionally come across websites that need a Macromedia Flash plugin, I tried to download the file but it asks for browser name from a list and Mozilla isn't on the list. I searched Mozilla help and it says something about a bug?
Anyone know the secret how to install the Flash?
Thanks

Well Firebird is still in testing stage, which is why the version is still 0.61.They don't even have an install for the browser yet, you have to unzip the .zip file to the program files folder manually. Things will improve soon
Try this for installing the flash plugin
Download the .exe install file for the flash plugin.
Then chose other for browser and browse to the location of your firebird folder, and in that folder is a plugin folder, choose this folder to install to.

I know its great that you just use it froma file...I liek my registry to be kept clear as day from installation packages.
I am sure it will be sorted soon though...as soon as Version 1.0 is out anyway.
