I ran head long into this little active x monster in a system today.
It didn’t have any effect on my system.( Connected to my network while diagnostics ran)
But It looks like it may cause us a little head ache here on the forums.

Especially if it is allowed to infect or affect users system.
Many of the changes it makes look a great deal like the problems that have been popping up ..

Is it a trojan or the ultimate security system?

I'm beginning to like the old days...when the malware did something easy like format c:\...

How many computer professionals these days would know how to go about restoring things from a DOS command line?

This particular one seems to prove the necessity for knowing DOS...even in this day and age when DOS is dead (Remember Latin anyone?....Why are so many schools going back to teaching it...because it is the foundation of so many modern languages).

Backup the registry...Backup the Registry... Backup the Registry...
