Case ID's

would all compujter cases usually have some sort of identifying mark, name, etc? I bought an "Antec" case but it looks identical to an Enermax in my internet search. I went to the Antec site and can't find one that looks like it. No problem the case is what I need but just curious if these companies are interchangeable and if any kind of identifying mark should be on the case.

I've never noticed one, but it may have a serial number somewhere. I would guess the back plate would be the most likely spot...

The only ID I've seen on any of the cases I've dealt with was on the outside of the box they were shipped in. And one Antec someone bought that had a square "Antec Outside" you could glue into the little square depression a lot of cases had until recently.

I wish they were marked somehow, that would make rip offs a bit more difficult...
