My computer has been getting the following warnings:
When booting the computer, a warning is posted in the system event viewer, noting "disk" as the source...
An error was detected on device \Device\CdRom1 during a paging operation.
Also, when burning a CD, a warning is posted, noting "cdrom" as the source...
An error was detected on device \Device\CdRom1 during a paging operation.
I have found microsoft articles explaining that the "disk" error can occur when the computer is running XP, and there is an Iomega 250MB zip drive installed (both of which apply to my computer). So I am assuming that that is the explanation for that one.
Anyway, can anyone please shed some light on either of these warnings for me? Is there any potential harm that can come from these?
All comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
