Was checking over my system which by the way is up and running quite well. I'm running out of space on the 5 gig partition for XP OS. I'm down to 1.67 gig. I've been installing everything on drive D which I noticed has been formatted with an NTFS file system. Don't remember it giving me the option when I reformatted it within XP. So here is how it's layed out.

C:/ is FAT 32 at 5 gig
D:/ is NTFS at about 32 gig

Wondering if Partition magic will let me change the size of C being that all allocated space on the rest of the drive is NTFS or if this would even be a good thing to attemp. I really don't want to start over and repartion everything then reload. At the moment I have everything loaded that I will need but you know how that can change. How much extra space do you think XP needs to keep running optimal and to give room for future updates.

As I understand it, WinXP runs fine on 5 gigs and probably won't need more than that as long as you put other programs on other partiions. You can convert the FAT32 to NTFS and it might be worthwhile to consider that since your other partition is NTFS....
