How to boot to DOS mode in windows XP without using any boot disk? Is there a way ?

You can open up a DOS emulation Window in XP, but that's about it.

At Microsoft's XP launch event, Bill Gates typed "EXIT" on a DOS machine with a big screen for the audience to see. Before he hit enter, he had a brief conversation with a voice reminiscent of HAL9000 asking if he was sure he wanted to do that. It symbolized the end of native DOS in Windows products.

i doubt so too, just wanna confirm. normally i would use a win98 bootup disk to go to dos mode for fdisk purpose.

There's nothing to stop you doing this - but that isn't what the original post was querying.
