Upgrade win98se

Hi i have pruchase windows XP home edition upgrade everytime I try to upgrade iget error this is what it says(E:\1368\wid9Xupg\w95upg.dll).
that as far as I get it will not let me go what is this file and how do i correct it so i can upgrade to XP home. please help.

Hi everthing you told work fine up until I got a new error, this is what it says, (Setup cannot continue Contact Micrsoft Technical Support.(error3E6H) I am stuck all I want do is upgrade win xp home edititon. clease restall will not work it will give me the same error and the worse problem my HD will be wipe out. isn't there something I can do pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help. Thank You
