When I put a software CD into the CDROM, nothing happens and I have to use Start/run etc. However when I put a music CD in it immediately plays. How can I enable AUTOPLAY? I have WINDOWS 98.

I believe this is it in 98??
Right click on the My Computer icon on your Windows desktop
Click on Properties
Click on Device Manager
Click on the "+" sign next to "CD-ROM"
Double click on the icon for your drive
Click the Settings tab
Click on the box next to "Auto Insert Notification"
A check mark should appear indicating that you have turned this feature on.
Click OK to close this window
Click OK again to close the device manager
Click on YES to restart your computer.
When your computer reboots, try inserting the CD again. It should now play just fine. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
