Ok I downloaded the memory tester to check one of my PC's
The PC is dram 512 total MB runs at 800MHZ/ p111 system acer
The mem tester is a Dr watson i believe/ basically they all do the same diagnostics/ you create a bootable floppy and reboot sys with the floppy/
Then a menue screen appears/ giving various selections
The one I selected was the Burn Diag. It thoroughly tests your Ram and all other areas of mem ext etc.
Does anyone have an idea as too how long this would run through the Loops for 512 DRAM? It just continued up too 11 1hrs of loops to about 45 then I aborted>>
