C:\TEMP folder

I have Windows 98SE and have in the past cleaned out the C:\WINDOWS\TEMP folder without causing any problems.

Now I've discovered that there is another folder called C:\TEMP.
Can I clean out this folder without causing problems?

I've already cleaned it out, but files are still in my recycle bin.

Leave them there a few days to a week and if nothing bad seems to be happening go ahead and pitch them.
