A new version of mimail is doing the rounds.
The problem arrives as an email, purporting to be from PAYPAL, stating that unused accounts are to be deleted, and then points you to it's attachment, which will enable you to stop the account deletion.
Of course, the email is not from PAYPAL, and the attachment, which will gain your credit card number etc is a spoof, which sends the info to some B**tard who will then rob you blind.
I found out about this scam yesterday.
I received the email last week, and I have to say it is VERY CONVINCING.
I never open attachments, and this one is no exception, so I didn't get caught (I'm not even sure if my AV/Outlook let the attachment through - I immediately deleted the email.
Just a Heads-up though, these things are extremely convincing, and with Christmas coming up, be VERY CAREFUL.
