IE6 New window staying minimized

IE6 New window staying minimized

Just today any new window I open in IE starts minimized. I can't even click on it in the taskbar to open it.

I have to right click on it and click on Maximized.

Any ideas?

solution 1

1. Close all the programs.

2. Only open one Internet Explorer window.

3. Right click on the taskbar, click Tile Windows Horizontally.

4. Close this Internet Explorer window, and then test if this issue reoccurs.

solution 2

Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize) Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the size next time.

If the above does not work for you, post back, there is a registry editing solution also.

Thanks for the post.

I couldn't stand it so I used Restore Point and I'm back to normal.
