"I have Norton Antivirus software with weekly updates, I am shielded against Virus attacks!"

I personally think that Norton anti-Virus is an absolute must but to go as far as thinking that no virus can reach you leaves me a little perplexed.....

What do you think?

I have heard 95% was as good as it gets.
No such thing as foolproof virus shield.

Having an antivirus is essential IMHO, but Norton's is by no means essential. It isn't foolproof either. If a hacker releases a virus today, it will be at least a day or so before Norton or any other company will have an update. I am using Norton AV now and find it to be very unstable when it comes to updates. I have set it to notify me of updates several times and each time it eventually turned off that feature without any help from me....
