Several months ago I found that I couldn't read my E-mail while in Internet Explorer, by clicking the 'E-mail' envelope and then 'Read Mail.' Went to TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > PROGRAMS and tried to insert 'Outlook Express' in the E-mail window, but was not allowed to do this. I can read my E-mail, but only if I first go to Outlook Express. Is this a normal change in the Internet Explorer? If not, how can I restore the old system?

Things to try.

OE >> Tools >> Options >> General and Make sure that OE is the checked as the Default EMail Handler.

IE >> Tools >> Internet Options >> Programs and click on "Reset Web Settings".

Repair IE from Add/Remove Programs (as long as you are not running IE6 in Windows XP).
